We are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up ev’rybody and sing
We are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up ev’rybody and sing
Ev’ryone can see we’re together
As we walk on by
and we fly just like birds of a feather
I won’t tell no lie
Just let me state for the record
We’re giving love in a family dose
We are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up ev’rybody and sing
We are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up ev’rybody and sing
Living life is fun and we’ve just begun
To get our share of the world’s delights
high hopes we have for the future
And our goal’s in sight
no we don’t get depressed
‘Cause here’s what we call our golden rule
Have faith in you and the things you do
You won’t go wrong
This is our family Jewel
We are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up ev’rybody and sing
We are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up ev’rybody and sing
We are family
We are family
We are family
We are family
We are family
We are family
We are family
I’ve danced to this song many times!
Thanks
Mr Crump
The Bag Bites Back
Today I was swallowed up whole by my bag,
I was awfully angry and terribly mad!
I had only gone in there to fetch out a book,
But quick as a flash it gobbled my foot!
I tried to resist but the bag carried on,
My foot, then my leg, then my belly had gone!
Slowly it gulped straight up to my neck,
Then nothing was left, not even a speck!
Well that was last Thursday and I’m still in here,
And the moral of this is now ever so clear.
Clean out your bag everyday with resolve,
Or the sandwich that lurks there will start to evolve!
You Need Me, I Don’t Need You
I don’t want to bruise your ears
Or hurt you again
But I got back-stabbed by a black cab
When I needed a friend
But now I’m in town, break it down, thinking of making a new sound
Playing a different show every night in front of a new crowd
That’s you now, hello, ciao, seems that life is great now
See me lose focus, as I sing to you loud
And I can’t, no, I won’t hush
I’ll say the words that make you blush
I’m gonna sing this now
See, I’m true, my songs are where my heart is
I’m like glue, I stick to other artists
I’m not you, now that would be disastrous
Let me sing and do my thing and move to greener pastures
See, I’m real, I do it all, it’s all me
I’m not fake, don’t ever call me lazy
I won’t stay put, give me the chance to be free
Suffolk sadly seems to sort of suffocate me
‘Cause you need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you at all
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you at all
You need me
Does he write his own tunes? Does he write his own verse?
Hell, don’t need another word-smith to make my tune sell.
Call yourself a singer-writer. You’re just bluffing
Name’s on the credits and you didn’t write nothing
I sing fast, I know that all my shit’s cool
I will blast and I didn’t go to Brit School
I came fast with the way I act, right
I can’t last if I’m smoking on a crack pipe
And I won’t be a product of my genre
My mind will always be stronger than my songs are
Never believe the bullshit that fake guys feed to ya
Always read the stories that you hear on Wikipedia
And musically I’m demonstrating
When I perform live, feels like I am meditating
Times at The Enterprise when some fella filmed me
‘A young singer-writer like Gabriella Cilmi’
‘Cause you need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you, at all
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you, at all
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you, at all
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you, at all
You need me, man, I don’t need you
‘Cause you need me, man,
You need me, man,
‘Cause you need me, man,
You need me, man,
‘Cause you need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you, at all
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you, at all
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you, at all
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you
You need me, man, I don’t need you, at all
You need me, man, I don’t need you

Snap
The ones we love
The ones we’ve lost
There’s some we frame
And there’s the ones we crop
When all my favourite ones were ruined by my ugly dog
But mum and daddy’s wedding days are the most lovely shot
I had a 1000 free minutes till they cut me off
Talking to this chick that used to love me (uh)
She used to send me lovely pictures of her lovely (uh)
Now they are even bigger and they’re bustier
Ha wow. I used to wonder at the stars a lot
Sitting in my dads old barber shop
I used to pull faces when he past the mop
Then he gave me his plate and glass to wash
He made me wanna be the man in charge, the boss.
That’s how he got his first grey
But he laughed it off
The moments and memories we keep
Will be forever stored in my micro SD
Back in the day
When I was young
Those were the days
Wish that I could go back
I wanna take you back
To the very moment when you take a snap
Back in the day
To little me
Reminiscing all, all the memories that
Made me happy and they made me sad
All the very moments when you take a snap
Second year of college on the fourth day
That’s when I see you standing in the hallway
(uh) Leonardo da vinci portrait
She had a face that I could be looking at all day
Dior shades, small waist
God put a lot of body in a tall frame
I got all fazed
She was pure
I took up literature just to get to know her more
She said she liked immature when she was immature
Shy girl, she could of worked on her image more
(uh) she made me laugh till my ribs were sore
We were for better for worse
We were for rich for poor
I was tidying my room
When my sister saw
And said T why you still got her picture for
These moments and memories we keep
Will be forever stored in my micro SD
Woo.
Back in the day
When I was young
Those were the days
Wish that I could go back
I wanna take you back
To the very moment when you take a snap
Back in the day
To little me
Reminiscing all, all the memories that
Made me happy and they made me sad
All the very moments when you take a snap

Tick tock, tick tock
Goes the old grandfather clock
Tick tock, tick tock
It never ever ever stops.
swing, swing swing
It really is a wondrous thing
Swing swing, swing swing
I’m waiting for the clock to ting.
Ding dong, ding dong
Now it plays its little song
Ding dong, ding dong
Every hour all day long.
car sick
I’m car sick,
Open a window,
I’m car sick,
Take this pill,
I’m car sick,
Rest your eyes,
I’m car sick,
Shh. Be still,
I’m car sick,
Drink some ginger ale,
I’m car sick,
can you try to wait,
I’m car sick,
now we’re almost there,
I feel better,
Darn! Too late.
A friend is a golden stone,
a friend is a nice cold,
Ice block on a hot day,
A friend is powerful and strong,
A friend is a nice song,
A friend is a strong rope,
A friend sticks with you through thick and thin.
Pink flower
Pink is special because it is great,
Pink is a favourite colour,
All kinds of pink,
Sparkle pinks too.
Pink is pretty,
A favourite colour is light pink,
Pinktacular,
Pink blossoms,
Pink sequins,
Lots of shades of pink,
Same boys and girls like pink,
Pink is special to all the girls in Gesher
You’re in control
You might get discouraged,
You might get let down,
You might have some bad days,
This might be one
BUT…
You will wake up tomorrow,
You will see a new day,
You will have opportunities,
To make every thing okay.
I love the bathroom,
Where I can set free,
The divine ballerina,
Inside of me.
Oh, I can hear the music,
As I dress in dazzling pink,
I’m twirling,
I’m pirouetting,
On the stage beside the sink.
The stalls in the bathroom,
Begin to disappear,
Into crowds of people,
Who stand up and cheer.
I still hear the clapping,
As I head back to class,
Ready for,
Some reading,
Some writing,
And some math.
