Paolozzi Poems – The Vistor
We decided that the beginning of The Visitor was not particularly tense, so we decided to add descriptive lines to create tension.
Children:
Please blog your tense poems below.
Use J2E and make the poems look spooky and scary.

Our Poems (inspired by Geography Lesson)
We read Geography Lesson. It’s a poem about an inspirational teacher.
We decided to write poems about people who inspire us. We tried to include repetition, figurative language and description of our inspirational people.
Please comment below our poems by saying something positive, asking a question and then making a suggestion.

Our favourite poems…
Hi Year 6,
Post your favourite poems below.
You’ll need to search online using search terms: poems for children, funny poems, poems with repetition, poems with metaphors and any other search terms you can think of.
You could also ask your parents and carers about their favourite poems.
Highlight: rhyme, repetition, similes or metaphors.
Why do you think the poems are interesting?
